The Verge confirms that the screenshots are genuine
Screenshots of Microsoft’s new Windows 11 operating system have surfaced on Chinese website Baidu, and they show the new Windows 11 user interface and Start menu. Opinions have been expressed that Windows 11 resembles Windows 10X, which was eventually cancelled.

Application icons are now centered on the taskbar with a new Start button and menu. The Start menu is a simplified version of what currently exists in Windows 10, without live tiles. It includes docked apps and the ability to quickly shut down or restart Windows 11 devices. The operating system is labeled in the screenshot as Windows 11 Pro.

Microsoft is expected to use much of the Windows 10X development in Windows 11. The Windows 10X operating system was originally designed for dual-screen devices, and then it was announced for regular computers, but eventually it was canceled.

Microsoft has confirmed that it is ready to launch Windows 11. On June 24, the software giant will hold a special Windows event to unveil its next operating system.
